If driving from Dublin Airport here are the directions to us:
1. Start out at Dublin Airport, Dublin.
2. Follow signs Way Out, Dublin Unclassified Junction with M1/R132.
3. At roundabout take 2nd exit (signposted Dublin) to join Motorway M1 Airport Interchange.
4. At roundabout take 2nd exit (signposted Dublin) Junction 3 (M50).
5. Branch left (signposted M50 Southbound) and at roundabout take 3rd exit M50 Junction 6 (N3).
6. Leave motorway (signposted Cavan) and at roundabout take 3rd exit N3
7. Blanchardstown Roundabout. Take 2nd exit N3 Dunshaughlin N3 Navan.
8. Follow signs Cavan, Kells N3
9. Kells (Ceanannus Mor). Follow signs Cavan, Virginia N3
10. Virginia. Follow signs Cavan N3
11. Dublin Road Roundabout (edge of Cavan). At roundabout take 3rd exit along bypass (signposted Ballyshannon, Enniskillen)
12. Take 2nd left exit with an almost immediate right (Should see sign post for Ford House here) into a windy country road.
13. Keep going over a country bridge (Cavan River) up a steep hill and right turn 200 metres from the bridge.
